There is nothing more iconic than the Eiffel Tower. Create it on butcher paper or find a large cutout of it. If you want to decorate in the colors of France use blue, white and red – the colors of the flag.
The most famous French Operetta of the time was George Bizet’s Carmen. Play music from the soundtrack.
Besides a plate of bread, cheese and wine (I mean, grape fruit juice), think croissants, crepes and maybe even fondue (fun). Fish, duck and chicken dishes are popular French meats. Soups are also good.

Children in France put their shoes in front of a fireplace and Pere (Papa) Noel fills them with gifts and candy.
Bastille Day –Independence Day
A military parade is held every year the morning of Bastille Day. There are fireworks in the evening and everyone gathers on rooftops to watch.
