The Hip Pocket Activity Book is a small 5.5″x4.5″ booklet. They are one of the best tools a camp counselor can have. Guaranteed to keep your campers from saying the B word – ‘I’m Bored’!” Make as many as you need for your staff with this template. You can also edit the template and add your own activities using Microsoft Word.
Suppose your counselors could turn “downtime” into “funtime” – instantly
Imagine you and your staff not having to remember fun and quick activities, leading the same three games over and over.
Sounds too good to be true?
Well it isn’t if you have the right tools.
I give my staff these same booklets every summer, and they use them constantly.
Think about it. A resource tool full of fun and easy-to-lead activities – and one that staff can easily carry with them at all times – is a tool that all youth organizations should have for their staff. Simply put, the Hip Pocket Activities booklet will do just that.
If you would like to take a look and use the old version I used to give away years ago you can get it by clicking here. It was hard to assemble. I don’t know what I was thinking when I did it this way.
The new version is bigger, better and editable. It’s also much easier to assemble.

This template is in Microsoft Word. You can print and assemble the Hip Pocket booklets the way I created them OR you can edit them to include the games, songs, riddles and activities that work better for your camp program. Over the past few years I have sold a pre-printed version of the booklet. I would constantly get emails requesting different versions for return staff. I would also get requests for specific games and activities to be added. Then it hit me, “Why don’t I just offer a template that can be changed and adjusted to meet the needs of each camp?” The template allows camps to print booklets using typical 11″ x 8.5″ paper. You’ll want to use stock paper for the cover to make it more durable. You will also need a long reach stapler.
I used to sell pre-printed Hip Pocket booklets for between $4.50-$7.50 each depending on the quantity that was purchased. By making a one time purchase of this template, camps can make as many booklets as they like, year after year, saving quite a bit of money.
Text and Video Instructions
I have included written instructions on how to use the template and how to put the booklets together, but I thought some of you might appreciate it if I took the time to create a video of step-by-step instructions. So I did that as well.
I am so sure that you will find this template an invaluable resource that I am giving you a 60 day money back guarantee. If you find this template is not worth it’s weight in gold, simply email me your reasons why and I will refund your money immediately. Bam! All the risk is gone.
